Student have been working with graphing in our classroom.  For the 3rd grade state assessment they have to know how to make a Tally Graph, a Pictograph, a Bar Graph, and a Line plot.

State Basketball

So much fun to watch the High school boys basketball team heading to Manhattan for State Basketball.  We had an all school assembly to send them off. 

Famous Black American Speeches

What a lot of work put in by the 3rd graders at Jackson Heights.  They were each assigned a famous black American to research and then give an oral report on while dressed in character.  Awesome job.  Looks for video presentation on Jo Hufford's facebook page.
