We have been studying about matter in Science class. Answer the following questions about matter. What is matter? Name the 3 states of matter, give an example of each states and tell one thing that you know about that state. Use three physical properties to describle a strawberry. Why does oil float when poured into a pot of water?

Matter is anything that takes up space. The three states of matter are liquids- like water takes the shape off the container its in.Gases- like air have no definite shape.Solids- like a rock keep there shape.Strawberrys are red and they feel rough and they are juicy.Oil floats on water because it is less dense than water.

In a gas atoms go all over the place. In a liquid atoms have lots of space to move.In a solid atoms are all crunched up.Oil floats because it is less dense than water.A strawberry tastes sweet, it smells like sugar and it feels a little rough.Matter is something that takes up space.

Matter is something that takes up space and has mass. The three state of matter are-soilds, liquid, gas. An ice cube is a soild, it always keeps it's shape. Milk is a liquid, it takes the shape of it's container. Oxygen is a gas, they have no definite shape or volume. Physical properties describe things with the 5 senses. You can describe a strawberry by its sweet taste, its red color and its small size. Oil floats on water because it's less dense then water.

Anything that takes up spase is matter. solid, liquid and gas are the form of matter. A solid has its own shape.A solid can be a mansrelastik. A liqad dosen't have its own shape. A liqid can be water. A gas daesn't have its own sape. A gas can be air.

Matter is every thing that takes up space. A liquid is matter that has volume that stays the same but a shape can change. Gas has no definite shape or volume. Solid is matter with a volume and a shape that stays the same. A straberry is red. It has oil in it

Matter is every thing on the planet. When you put water a pot and mix it up with oil. The oil stays on top and the water gos to the bottem. This means that the oil is less denser than the water.A solid is a book.A soild has is's own shape and volume.A soild can become a liquid by addind heat and becomes a gas. A strawberry is red and it feels rough and it tasts sweet. A liquid is water.

Matter is everything. Solid its volume and shap stays the same. Liquid it has a volume that stays the same but the shape can change. Gas has no definite shape or volume. A strawberry looks red, smalls good, taste good. Oil flouts because it has less density than water.

Matter is somthing that is every thing that takes up space and that has mass.Every thing in the world that has mass and matter have adoms even air.Solids is something that can not change its shape but it can change it's state even when you breake it's still the shape it was.Liquids can be a gas or a solid when you poor a liquid all the adoms rool over each other and trys to hold the cup to gether.

Matter is everything that takes up spase. Luquid, luquid for example if you put an ice cube in the sun it will melt into a luquid. Solid , asolid never changes its shape. Gas never changes its shape. A straw berry tatses sour. It all so looks like a heart. It feels rough. The oil floted because it is less dins than the water.
